Silvija Musić

Silvija Musić started her dance journey early in Edita Cebalo's Dance Studio, where she met jazz dance and ballet, and in ZKM, where she was first introduced to contemporary dance by Desanka Virant. She graduated from Ana Maletić's High School for Contemporary Dance. Later, she also researched street styles (hip-hop, house, waacking, locking, popping) at the School of Street Styles, where she mostly learned from Suzana Čečura and jazz dance and heels class at Escape Dance Studio with Lidija Iveković. In parallel, she led the Afro-Latino group at the Faculty of Philosophy as a demonstrator, which included styles such as salsa, bachata, kizomba, reggaeton, etc., which she learned about in the Dance Studio of So Dance. She completed BA in Pedagogy, Ethnology, and Cultural Anthropology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb and BA in Contemporary Dance at the Academy of Dramatic Arts. She has participated in numerous dance workshops in different cities and countries, from Zadar, through Malaga (ES) to Berlin (DE) and Los Angeles (USA). As a choreographer, she participated in the Streetforma festival in 2018. As a dance pedagogue, she continues to work at the JazzElle Dance Studio, where she also attends musical theater workshops by Tihana Strmečki. She became a member of the Zagreb Dance Company in January 2023.
