Martina Nevistić was born in Zagreb on December 18, 1983. In 2000 she graduated from Ana Maletić School of Contemporary Dance and became a member of Contemporary Dance Studio. In 2006 she graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Department of Organization and Management. In 2008 she graduated from Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, Austria (SEAD), with a solo performance by Croatian choreographer Matija Ferlin (Lucky between the mountains). During the education, she collaborated with Anna Macrae, Salva Sanchis, Jule Flierl, Libby Farr, Susan Redhorst, Ted Stoffer, Sanja Tropp Fruehwald. She gained more experience in Brussels and Berlin. She was a scholar of "Nomad Dance Academy" educational program, where she connected with young artists of South East Europe/Balkan for the future work and friendship. There she created the piece entitled WannaBe, for which she won the Audience Award at the Festival of Choreographers in Almada, Portugal.
For the Youth of Contemporary Dance Studio she choreographed the piece entitled Throng, and collaborated with Andreja Široki on Field of Grounding, and with Sodaberg Art Team (Marjana Krajač) on Simple Life. She founded O.N.E. Art Company in Zagreb. She is one of the initiators of the co-author projects Silver, multimedia installation (2010); BLU, multimedia performance (2011); Black, interactive video installation (2012).
Having taken part in UTF-8 (choreography by Sahar Azimi, produced by Zagreb Dance Company, 2009), in March 2010 she became a member of Zagreb Dance Company and so far participated in the following productions: Interface by Snježana Abramović Milković (2010), Under the Eyelids by Laura Aris Alvarez (2011). In Changes (2012), she is both a dancer and the choreographer of one of the three pieces the production consists of.
In 2011 she collaborated with her colleagues from Nomad Dance Academy program (Schnabl-SLO, Koruga-SR, Georgiev-MK/BG, Larrere-FR) on the project entitled Artist As A Present, supported by Jardin d' Europe. In collaboration with the Festival “Perforations” from Zagreb, she participated at the laboratory ”From science to art, forests at the heart of life” in Montpellier (August 2011), resulting in the interactive installation Evolution Revolution. In September 2012, that installation was invited to open Domaine D' O in Montpellier, within the network Imagine 2020. In 2012 she danced in Irma Omerzo's choreography Meteo.
